Today has been one of those long days... Started by going to get Brandon early this morning. After I picked him up, I had to go grab Katie from a friends house and take her to N. Chas to get her cartilage pierced. After we got back home, I got a short nap before Dana was waking me to ask me about clothes for her sleep-over tonight. An hour and a half later, we were heading back into Goose Creek to drop Dana off, and decided to grab a bite to eat, since we knew that it was going to 9pm before we got back home. After dinner we stopped at goodwill and looked for some shorts for Brandon, but couldn't find any that fit his little skinny butt... LOL. Then off to walmart for those last minute things that we would need for the weekend... UGH, I hate shopping! However, just picking up a few items tonight really wasn't to bad. I managed to find Brandon 2 shirts that were on clearance, so that turned out pretty good.

I am waiting on having to buy school supplies for 3 kids... hmm... well at least Dana won't need clothes, so that helps, and I only have to purchase 2 outfits for Brandon, so overall not that bad I guess. Last year I bought all of them new clothes and all their actual supplies. I thought I was gonna die in the checkout line when she said 300 plus!

Ok... well time to stop ranting about nothing major, and get my butt to bed... Tomorrow begins at 7:30 am... Fun fun!!!

Well, it has been a rough day. Started with the truck not wanting to start. Not that bad, I know, but our truck takes two, yes two batteries. Money is really tight, so finding out that the batteries were gonna be $200.00 was a little upsetting. Thank God for my mother, she is always there to help, and loaned me the money to get them. (Thank you so much mom!)
David, Steve and I had a great study session this afternoon, and accomplished a lot of school work. We had a good lunch, made some awesome grades on quizzes and tests, and enjoyed each others company as we studied.
Later this afternoon, I found out that a dear friends' mother passed away. She was 87 yrs old, and as sweet as they come. May she rest in peace now, and join her husband in heaven. Lee, my condolences to you and your family.
Okay... Time to get some rest, it has been a long day.

1 pm:
Well, today is going OK... I have gotten a little homework done, planted a flower with Percy, and checked out facebook. I have a little bit more homework to get done, and I will be caught up in one class and ahead in two classes. Always nice to be a little ahead of the teacher, even though it don't happen often. More later...
11:29pm:
Been sitting here since about 7pm thinking about my friend Earl, and his family. This afternoon his brother was killed in car accident in West Ashley. Tomorrow is the bond hearing for the guy that hit his brother.
Earl, you have many friends sending their condolences and prayers for you and your family, as well as for his girlfriend and child. I am here for you anytime, and my prayers and condolences to you, your family, and everyone who was touched by your bother.
